This is the gallery with lots of ideas and problem solving solutions, giving me a chance to experiment with new techniques and design ideas. Have a look at the ‘Evening Invitation’ on page four. The lettering appears to be in two complementary colours. A pretty effect – devilishly difficult to achieve. It’s used again on page one ‘On our 10th Wedding Anniversary…’
Most enjoyable design was for a wedding in Ravello, Italy. The invitations were made up in the form of large decorative scrolls with a decorative capital at the top of each, subtly different on all the 30+ scrolls produced.
So every guest had a personalised version slipped into the dark red scroll box with their names written in white on the lid.
